New in... Acronym AW16
Each piece of the second drop of Acronym’s AW16 collection is perfectly in tune with designer Errolson Hugh’s futuristic approach and fascination with performance-led fabrics. With a palette that consists exclusively of black and RAF Green, delivery two features outerwear, adaptive layering pieces and articulated pants. Here’s a full breakdown of what’s on offer
Acronym’s J-56-GT Field Jacket is made from next-generation Gore-Tex® fabric, providing up to 28% more breathability compared to previous products, and maximum ruggedness for use in extreme conditions. Six external pockets, storm hood and logo tape detailing gives it a further utilitarian edge.
The Gabardine Articulated Pant – or PS4A-S in the precision-led world of Acronym – feature a tapered silhouette and articulated fit for increased freedom of movement. This is a recurring theme of Acronym collections – as a karate enthusiast, the ease of movement provided by karate gi is a major influence on Errolson Hugh's designs.
The J50-S Bomber Jacket can act as both an outer layer and as an inner, providing warmth beneath any of the brand’s rainproof hard-shells. With Climashield filament insulation technology it’s an “envelope of warmth and well-being”.
Another item that can act as both a jacket or a component piece, the J58-WS includes zip detailing for fastening to other outerwear elements; team with AW16’s J-56 Field Jacket for the ultimate urban tech aesthetic.
