New drop... Common Projects
How do you improve on a classic? For AW16 Common Projects introduce new sole units and fabrications to inject some subtle surprises into their minimalist formula.
The new Gummy style of the Original Achilles Low sees a tactile shift in the style’s upper: as the name suggests, the smooth leather is swapped out for a gummy-feel coating, giving the iconic sneaker more of a matte effect.
The ripple sole is another tweak this season—when you’re in the business of sneaker silhouettes that are stripped back to begin with, every tweak counts. A more rugged sole unit (by Common Projects standards at least) is complemented by a pebbled leather upper and comes in a box-fresh white and an autumnal burgundy.
Just in time for the winter months is the wool iteration of the Achilles Low. The upper features a melange weave, offset by the brand’s signature gold serial number motif at the heel.
These three seasonal exclusives sit alongside our range of ever-present styles, perfect if you’re simply looking for a winter re-up on a much-loved classic.
